There are many forms of anxiety: panic, test anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD, generalized anxiety, to name a few.
What they all have in common is the emotion that lies behind it and also serves an important purpose: fear saves our lives. Thanks to the feeling of fear, we recognize dangers and can react to them in a timely manner. It mobilizes unexpected forces and helps us to accept challenges and act decisively.
However, sometimes fear gets out of control and makes us sick. If you feel that fear is limiting your quality of life, then anxiety therapy is recommended.
In the initial consultation, I will identify the triggers and symptoms of your fear and give you initial information about how your fears work. At the end of the first session, I will make you a suggestion about my therapy offer and the further process.
The next therapeutic step is diagnostics, for example in the form of questionnaires or anxiety protocols. Based on this information, an individual explanatory model is created, which forms the basis for the therapy plan. Together we will discuss options for reducing anxiety and, if necessary, plan exercises to reduce anxiety.
The final part of the therapy is about transferring the skills learned in therapy into everyday life and discussing possible relapses in advance.
Don't be afraid of fear, gather all your courage and regain your quality of life!
