The exact type of treatment method plays an important, but comparatively secondary role.<\/p>\n<p>The central working tool in psychotherapy is <span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">conversation<\/span>. So please take your <span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">time<\/span> to form an opinion about what you like or don't like about me as a therapist.<\/p>\n<p>To get you started, I will familiarize you with the <span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">administrative processes<\/span> in our practice, the general conditions of therapy and my therapeutic training.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"color: #33cccc;\">questions<\/span> you will hear at the beginning of the actual therapy conversation are usually very similar. As soon as we determine that the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">therapy goals<\/span> have been <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">achieved<\/span>, the end of the therapy can be planned. How long this process takes is very <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">individual<\/span> and depends on various factors.<\/p>\n<p>The most important factor is probably the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\">goal<\/span>. A problem that can be described precisely can be changed more quickly than a complex behavioral pattern, the basis for a single decision is easier to find than for a decision that affects the entire life, a disturbing symptom can be easier to understand than a diffuse mood, a disorder caused by an individual Event is more easily curable than one caused by long-term stress or deprivation.<\/p>\n<p>However, in the course of psychotherapy, something that seemed simple often turns out to be more complicated, involving more areas - as if the original problem was just the tip of an iceberg. The psychologist cannot prescribe medication. If necessary, he will work with a psychiatrist or family doctor.<\/p>\n<p>The <span style=\"color: #008000;\">psychiatrist<\/span> studied medicine and after graduating received the specialist title of \u201cspecialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy\u201d.
